I'm old-school development, (learned on NotePad).

# SciTE - for coding in the old notepad style.
# Flash 8 Professional: action script, graphics and animations.
# MySQL Server 5.0

I also do a lot of audio for radio so I use the Cool Edit suite from Adobe.

I'm a network engineer/security admin too, so I use:
NetTools 4 for most of my network needs, trace route programs, etc.

It's all part of development for internal networking/intranets...

Since I design for multiple platforms, (Novell, Cisco, Apple/Mac, Windows etc.), I use VMWare to run applications on. It simulates several different server environments, including apache, IIS, and a few other.

- Metapad
- Coreldraw
- BKReplacem for mass text transforms
- Regex Coach for really ugly regex strings

Seriously, that's about it. If I have a text transform that BKReplacem can't do, I write a script to do it. Oh, and sometimes I use phpMyAdmin.
