I'm looking for a poll / voting script, and with so many options, I'm not sure which one would work best for me. I also have some specific features I'm looking for. I'll post those at the end of this post.

I don't know how large the website will be yet, that I will be putting it on. But I do want to allow for user generated polls. So I'm hoping for a script that can handle (without slowing the site) a really large website. Thousands of members and polls? That may never happen, but I'd rather have software that could handle that happening instead of not.

I was thinking wordpress.. but I really don't like that idea and it could become a mess later on.

I was also thinking it would be a script I'd add to a website, but with the features below, I'm thinking it would have to be the frame work the website runs on (if I used that term right), right? Then I would like to be able to edit the content / templates / pages.

-Unlimited number of polls.
-Guests can vote.
-Members can vote.
-Members can create this own polls (option to disable this feature).
-Member profiles (fairly simple and option for a small picture).
-My Polls: Members can keep track of polls, stats. etc.
-Member / guest comments (option to turn off guest and/or member comments ).
-Search for polls (with various search options).
-Poll Categories.
-Most popular polls.
-Hottest / Trending polls (currently getting most votes).
-(maybe) Highest Rated Polls (voted on by members).
-Ability to share / invite friends to polls via social media.
-Admin can fully customize and control everything ( could offer more details lol)

So any thoughts or got more questions? I do, unfortunately, can't afford anything too costly.. and I imagine anything that can handle this wouldn't be a free script (or surprise me), but if costs are too great, then nixing the membership / user generation is possible but not preferred (would still like the script to be able to handle being big).

About me: I can make a basic site in code with php, html, css. Can create my own wordpress themes. So not a total newbie to code, but a script like this is way beyond my ability to make myself.
