My company went with AJ Square’s Auction Pro because they claimed to have good support, object oriented programming, the full 9 yards. In reality the code is broken, their Idea of OOPD is using a single theory of it (no object orient programming in the end), their email notifications are broken (registration emails don’t pull up the To: field which means you wont be able to send emails) making testing impossible, and the database is so screwed up you can’t make more users. Plus, you will need to brush up on your Indian because their English is terrible. You can’t even add more fields to the user registration page! We wanted people to be able to list as a business or personal and they couldn’t do that because it wasn’t a field that came with the software. On a whole this product cost us upwards of ten grand in wasted project time. I can’t imagine someone with out technical skills trying to use this because my team found this to be a package so full of holes that it might as well have been transparent (yes there is nothing worthwhile here folks). Believe me when I say a positive vote on here for this product is a plant. Nothing works and they try to nickel and dime you every step of the way. STAY AWAY!
Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have bought aj auction version 3 script Enterprise edition last month. I have paid 2500USD for enterprise edition included 3 months technical support and 375 USD for extra implementation. Sales executive promise this extra implementation. After payment they install script to our machine, and after that they did not implement our desired extra implementation.After 10 days they (technical executive and support department) did not answer to our questions. Support dont reply answers to our questions. If you don't know php scripting language , ajsquare firm and their staff will be your nightmare. Please stay away from this indian firm Aj Square for your and your firm health.

I purchased this script back in February and gave up ever launching my business after 5 months of finding bugs and issues. I was basically a tester for the company. They even hosted the script on their servers so there was no install mistakes by me. The software is untested and riddled with bugs. Please do not waste your money. Avoid this script and the company at all costs.

I am sorry to have to be writing this but stay away from these people. I wish I would have listened to the other reviewers. If you see any positive review, it is a plant from them to offset the bad. If they tell you anything different, ask them for references... good luck wit dat! If they somehow step up and fix the issues I will amend this but until then.... The base package I paid $350.00 usd for was at the very least, not impressive! Oh and did I mention.. that cost is only for a 1 year license! Hmmm, they forgot to mention this before the purchase. Their idea of how a "Store" should function was a waste. I paid an additional $350.00 usd for modifications to the software to have it function more as I felt it should. These mods were to take "2" weeks according to them. This was great as I wanted to be online for Thanksgiving of 2008. The second week in December, 6 weeks later, we were still exchanging emails as to how it should function. The programming had not even been started yet! It is now, April 22, 2009 and the software still does not work right!! It has been almost 7 months since we started and they have now stopped returning my emails. Everytime they would fix one thing, somethig else would pop up. So here I am, 7 months later... I am out over $700.00 in software, plus close to $500.00 in web space and promotional items that I can't use. And due to the time zone differences, the simplest of questions can take 2 days to resolve. This would be a nightmare if I ever actually got up and running. Trust me..... don't buy anything from these people, you will absolutely regret it. They talk very nice while they are asking for extra money for everything. Oh, and by the way, I can provide all the emails I sent as proof that this is not being fabricated. Want to try for yourself.. go to bidbugz.com. You will see items on the main page without prices, you will see items with an auction time of 769 days? Where did this come from?? It is your call but, unless you have money and time to waste, look elswhere!

I had bought the AJ Square Auction and paid very good money for this and have been dealing with there techs for 2 straight months. There is many issues for the engineers to work on still before its released to the public. This has not been a very good experience with AJ Square. I have requested a refund may times and each time they tell me they will fix the problem but its the same story all the time. In my dealings with AJ Square I do not recommend AJ Square as an ebay clone Script of choice.
