  We found this is an excellent script that is backed by amazing customer service and costs a fraction of the price of most others out there. It came with many of the features we found necessary and is very easily customizable. You can check some of these customizable features out at SilverGoldBids.com.   firstly the script price is wrong it's higher than $99. also the support is non existant and i cannot get hold of aaron. i am curious about the other reviews here as they seem to suggest he's great but i cannot get replies to support requests,. it also seems that some reviews here are suspciious as one person claims that they have been a customer for several years yet aaron has only been in business for one year according to him. i am disappointed and have asked for a refund as the software is not as promised but am not confident of getting it. also there is no mention of many of the features that he has on his site. i want to buy another better script even if it's more expensive this is useless to me.

  I purchased the script frpm Aaron and had him install it (2 copies). Not only does the script work great, but he answers all questions whether on the phone or by email. I never had any major problems and just a few small glitches which he cleared up in a very timely manner. If you want penny auction software at a VERY reasonable price and customer service second to none, I would go here. I just wish he had a regular auction script as well that I could purchase.

  Well... what can I say. I purchased the 2.0 version of the script the day it came out. I did not use paypal went straight to a merchant account to complicate things. From day one, there were some bugs definitely but they were mostly addressed and fixed quickly. The service from Aaron at the price of the script is second to none! I think that is the major selling point honestly. We have delivered traffic to our penny auction since day 2, we are not dabbling in it at all and our site gets hammered and shows it. During peak hours we can average 700-800 people watching our big auctions with 40-50 bidding. Does the script handle it, yes, are there problems, of course we sit on pins and needles on $1000 items praying that things run smoothly as 800 people watch that timer. I am currently running a level 9 VPS from hostgator, it is a stought VPS but we really need a dedicated server, quad core at least and much more ram, lets just say we are cheating right now running on a small server with the traffic we get. So let's lay out pros and cons... Pros: Affordable Works Has a lot of features the other alternatives nickle and dime you for Very good support from a real person Cons: Meh, let's just say 99.9% of start up penny auctions fail so does it matter, this is the best script you can get for under 1k. Ok, the clock has some issues, run your auctions on a hard clock reset and not time added, or you will regret it. BID BONUS FOR REFERRALS NEED TO BE BASED ON BID PACK PURCHASE NOT REGISTRATION!!!!!!!! PLEASE WE NEED THIS!!!!!!!!!! Overall, the script works, is affordable, support is good, and the business is entertaining but might give you a heart attack. My advice to people wanting to start a penny auction.... Think long and hard and have deep pockets!!! It is not easy to attract people to the site if you only auction four cheap items a day. Selling that bid pack is tough!
