AWStats (Advanced Web Statistics) is a free tool that generates advanced graphical web statistics. This server logfile analyzer works as a CGI or from command line. It uses a partial information file to be able to process large log files, often and quickly and can analyze all wbe/proxy/wap servers log files (Apache, IIS, Squid, Webstar). Features: Number of visits, and Unique visitos, Most often viewed pages, Domains/countries of hosts visitors, Rush hours, Browsers used, OS used, VISITS OF ROBOTS, Search engines and Keywords used to find your site, HTTP errors, Supports several languages, and more.

    I've been tinkering with Webalizer for ages trying to get it to work, but couldn't. AWStats was so easy - the hardest part was changing my server logs to the combined format :-) This program is absolutely brilliant - the ease with which you can add more search engines to be recognised is great, and I've added (nearly) all the UK search engines to my copy. Keep up the great work!
