Reviewed by on Apr 29th, 2011After a little bit of a hick-up with Ioncube, got everything working. Haven't seen any other script that does everything as smoothly as this. Recommended to all who need a project management software. Easy and intuitive interface. Thumbs up!

This script has been a HUGE use to me. I have searched the web for something to help me manage my clients projects, after seeing this it was the obvious choice. After looking at some of the competitors it was clear they did this exact same thing but with a bunch of added crap i don't need, all for more then triple the price. Freelancer kit is a perfect solution for me and my clients, allowing me to easily communicate with them and work more efficiently. I can set up new projects and edit existing ones. This also gives them a place on the web to come back and download their files at any time. I love that i can easily theme this script to match my site, and i have complete freedom of the look. Before i started using freelancer kit i looked at some of the other solutions but they didn't allow any themes, and most of them were hosted on THEIR servers so i couldn't modify anything. I had NO control over any of the way it was ran. PLUS the monthly fees would rack up from all the services. Freelancer kit, was the perfect solution for me, with an easy to use affordable solution im a graphic designer, not a coder!

Poor demo = poor system. Plus who are they kidding I am a developer why can't I modify the source when I am paying over 200/license! That is just a plan waste of money. But since the release of freelancesuite gone open source, by money is to them. around 60 bucks for a open source license that does all the same but more. Come on freelancerkit do better... Stop changing a once decent script.. :( I am sad.

I've noticed this product since early releases as it was EXACTLY what I was looking for: - project tracking; - client login; - sharing files; - professional look, that's very important. Now even more valuable features are added: invoicing, languages. Worth to notice an exceptionally good support: via forum, emails and even live chat. As a client I receive updates to the product which are easy to install. This project is really live. The author keeps working on it constantly: adding new features and polishing usability and functions.

I have been using FreeLancerKit for only a week. It is already obvious that this software is well thought out and best of all just works. The programmer behind the system is very responsive and listens to his clients in regards to feature requests and seems to be available most of the time for technical support on their forum. Absolutely no complaints from me. All in all, 5 stars, great software.
The Demo has been working for 8 month straight, it's only been down when we updated the software which takes only minutes. The main source was guarded to protect our investment, sorry. You can still easily customize: Themes, CSS, JS, Images, Views/Templates. The other software you mentioned is totally different but we hope whatever you go with that it works out for you.
