Thanks to The Uploader you can upload and download file, with tons of functions manageable by an administraction area. You'll be able to ask for a captcha when up/downloading, ban certain IPs, check file extension, size and name. Moreover, it's possible to manage uploaded files, backup database and auto-update the script. Finally, save logs and register several administrators.

    This software doesn't look bad, but... I didn't get it working. I got it installed and configured, but uploading files didn't work. I removed one bug from the code (an extra "{" on line 274 in uploader.php), by analyzing the differences between the Italian version of the code and the English version of the code, but it still didn't work.

    Please note that we're very willing to help who find bugs in our script. We solved some problems in The Uploader in the latest days, and uploaded the new revisions on Sourceforge.
