If for some reason you don't like or want to use a CDN hosted copy (Google CDN, jQuery CDN or Microsoft CDN) of the jQuery library and you want to keep your (local) copy of the minified version up to date, this script is what you need. It does just that. * It compares your copy of jquery-latest.min.js to the copy on jQuery's CDN. * If your copy is out of date it creates a backup of your copy: jquery-previous.min.js. Just in case you need to quickly revert. * It updates your copy to the latest version. I'm a newbie php programmer so there's probably room for improvement. Please let me know about any improvements or modifications. HISTORY: v0.2.0 Changed the way to retrieve version numbers. The script now uses a regular expression. As of jQuery v1.6.4 the previous version doesn't work anymore. v0.1.0 Initial release
