Dear Hot Scripts Members
This month marks 10 years since I've been online, and the Web
has given me so much. It has helped in getting rid of the hermit
side of myself and shaped me into someone more social perfect
timing now that everyone sees social networking as the next gold
rush. A recent study shows that companies engaged in deep social
marketing can reap better financial performance. However, it
doesn't stop there. If used properly, social media channels can
help you manage your online reputation, test ideas, and market
your products or services to existing and potential customers.
Most scripts nowadays have built-in social media features such
as enhanced profiles, content and media sharing, or even
networking features. If your site doesn't have these features,
you can easily use remotely hosted services such as
JS-Kit or
Ning to bring some social
life to it. These are certainly great options, but always
remember to think outside of your own site visit social media
channels like Twitter or Facebook to build and maintain a
trusted relationship with your audience.

Softletter's Annual Survey - Get a Free ReportSoftletter,
now in its 25th year of publication, publishes a series of
annual surveys that examine every aspect of running a successful
software business. This survey covers sales compensation
processes and practices for a software firm's telesales force.
We're looking for some fairly standard information and will use
this data to identify trends and current benchmarks that you can
use to determine how your own numbers, processes and practices
compare to those of comparable companies.
