Link Checker

	The script will spider website and check all links, including anchor links, form action attributes, and image, iframe, script, and style source URLs. The script recognizes different URLs that refer to the same location (for example, http://www.domain.com/ and http://domain.com/index.h tml) and checks them only once.

PHP link checker

	This is a simple PHP website link checker to help get rid of any broken links on your web pages. Just type in the page you want to check and it crawls the page and checks the links on it. Then returns the status code i.e. 404 Not Found, 200 OK, ect.

Link Checker Pro

	Free script, that scans an entire website for problems on links: broken links, redirects, and other bad URLs. You can customize the display. Broken links are grouped under the URL of the source page (unlike Xenu) that eases to make the required corrections. This PHP program could be used online even if it is intended to work at command line on your computer.

I've GPLed an old class of mine. This PHP class, a link validator, i wrote in october 2003 and only used it in a site of mine nlweed.com to check if posted links are still valid. Now I found the class and thought that it would be a waste only to use it ones. This class can check a link and will return the status. Easy to implement in your own scripts. So here is the GPLed version. Check the source for documentation and the readme for code examples. Now it checks HTTP/1.0 served links too. (fixed hanging links). Follows redirection headers when status is an 301, 302 till 399. PHP4 and PHP5 campatible.

Link Searcher

	This class can be used to crawl Web pages to search for given text in it. It retrieves a given Web page and searches for links contained in it.The new links that are found are added to a queue to be crawled later and so implement recursive searching up to a given depth limit.The class looks for pages with text that match a given regular expression.

Site Checker

The script initially retrieves the list of all pages on the website (physical pages as well as pages in a database. e.g CMS). It then checks each link in each page against this list. The user may also specify a list of folders to ignore. This script can be usefull on large sites as it can be used to determine internal/external page links that are dead. The script can be easily extended to list pages that contain invalid links to images, javascript, css files etc.

No404s

	No404s is a PHP script designed to help you find broken or moved links on your site or your link pages. What makes it different from other link checkers is that the title obtained from checked site is displayed (useful for finding expired domains that give no other discernable error). At the end an overview of the checked links is given and links are displayed by code (200, 404, etc.).

This script enables a user to search a specified URL to determine whether there is an outgoing link to the specified website. Included with the script is three files, the first of which is for allowing people to enter in the URL to search and the link to check for. The second of the three files is for the action to take place if the link is found/not found and includes the third file which contains the function for the actual link detection.

hotlink protection

I wrote these functions to keep my GD generated images from being hotlinked. This was based on the idea that both the php script calling the image, and the image itself would have the same server time. If you try to use this script on a site that uses multiple servers, it would be a good idea to synchronize their cpu clocks. date_filter is to be used in the script calling the php resource you want to protect.
