Bug or issue trackers aren’t necessarily meant for just the high-end developers or companies that deploy large-scale projects – they can also be extremely beneficial to small site-owners interested in keeping track of issues and bugs with their site. Both Mantis and osTickets, have since long been the PHP bug trackers of choice for many. While they offer some great functionality, they aren’t aesthetically pleasing to use and certain tasks aren’t streamlined.
Tiny Issue is a new issue and bug tracker platform. It might not be packed with many features, but has a nice-looking interface that is highly usable. It comes with a nice permission system that allows you to set group-based privileges on a per-project basis. Its dashboard (as soon in the screenshot below) gives a quick overview of all the projects and their most recent activities.
All in all, Tiny Issue deserves your consideration if you’re on the look out for a simple bug or issue tracking. With its limited set of features, it might not be ideal for intensive use. Remember to visit our PHP Development Tools category for more bug tracker solutions.
