Subdreamer makes it easy to setup and maintain a professional looking website. The installation takes less than 10 minutes and then your up and running. The administrator interface can be managed by novices and experienced users. Create your own or use one of the existing plugins to customize the web site so it fits your needs. And best of all is the support which is rated by the current users to be one out of a million. A 'must-use' application for your new web site!

Subdreamer's phpBB & vBulletin Integration caught my attention right away. I had been searching for a CMS that would integrate user-registration with my forum and integrate easily. Subdreamer did just that, all I had to do was add the path of my forum and click.Done. The template are easily customized along with the plugins. You may either download or create your own templates and/or plugins ( News System and Image Gallery, Link Directory Guestbook, Chatterbox, Contact Form, are the included plugins). I higly recommend trying the light version and then buy the Pro for only $35 which is a steal.

When I first time saw it I thought that Subdreamer is just another fish among many. I've decided to give it a try, downloaded light version and messing with it day or two. Third day I purchased pro version and I did not regret it :) It has everything what I want from CMS. Easy to to install, simple to use, peace of cake to customize, one click skinning system, and very friendly user support. I know that there is couple of free robust CMS systems, but simplicity and usability of subdreamer simpy rocks! And they constantly improoves it and adding (they listen customer requests) new features as plugins.

The only thing this cms has in its favor, is that its easily skinnable. Sure its fine if you want to post news, or have one or 2 articles that are never updated, but if you want your site to be something that can grow, this is NOT the script for you. It doesn't support sub pages (unless you do like I did and post them as a news story on every page) Its absolutely HORRID. If your page has actual content, and needs to be updated on a regular basis, stay far FAR away from subdreamer.. Complete waste of money and time In my opinion.

This program is a refreshing alternative to one who has spent inordinate amounts of time trying to make sense out of the convoluted mess that the *-Nukes have become. This CMS system has a very clean architecture and simple interface, but don't let that fool you... it still has all the power of PostNuke without all the confusion. Web sites created with this product are clean, organized, scalable, and extendable. It's not free, but well worth the modest price.

Not only 35$, Mar 30, 2005 Reviewed By: Noman70
Review Of: Subdreamer - Content Management System in PHP :: Content Management
Beware! The script is 35$, comes with 1 skin and few basic plug-ins. Access to skins and other plug-ins - additional 45$ per each year! To make your site look professional, add 59$ to remove copyrights. Skins are basic, some plug-ins with PHP bugs, site sometimes not updated for weeks, promises not delivered by the author of Subdreamer. Search for words "unhappy" or "dissapointed" and then make up your mind before you buy. Not recomended. One of the users of Subdreamer.

Okay, just to give an update, the license now costs $125 big ones and that now includes one year of updates. I have to agree there are not a lot of skins etc, but the integration is nice and included gallery etc. All in all, Im happy and I would consider getting another license for another site. There is a support desk system now to allow for support tickets from the forum for pro users. The lite version is okay for most part but will be updated according to owner. Very good system to work with.

A nice, light, and flexable CMS that can intergrate an already installed forum. Development of plugins and skins is a breeze. If you've got the money and looking for an awsome CMS I'd defently recommend Subdreamer. 5/5

The above 'great comments' must have been written from members of Subdreamer because this has got to be the worse piece of software I ever installed!! Above this, it had cost a lot of money which is suppose to include support but no one ever gets back to you - not in the forum or by submitting a ticket! Search around for better software! I thought by the reviews this was going to be great but boy! was I the stupid one here!

I like the simple to manage plugin based interface and the forum integration included in the pro version, but after 1 year of use, i have decided to switch to an open source cms. The main reasons of my decision are: 1) the technical support has becomed very slow and unuseful (many problems not solved). 2) there is not a way to obtain a valid w3c page. 3) Friendly urls needs some enhancements. 4) I have had to pay for some feature (including bugs) that is free and better on open source cms's.

The software is mediocre. It has a major security vulnerability in it that the owner refuses to fix. The owner ignores major issues, the moderators delete posts from the forums so that the company doesn't look bad. Then, they had a false phone number on their WHOIS. When made to fix it they now use some privacy guard service to block it. A true sign of an online scam! Don't waste your money!

If you want a real good CMS, go with Joomla, Mambo, Wordpress or Drupal. Donīt waste your time/money with Subdreamer.

The last 3 reviews seem to be the same person or group,, perhaps disgruntled? .... I've been super happy with the product and support. The forum bridge is amazing, most reliable out there. Development in 2008 has been VERY active. New features and updates every week.
