Product Details

PHPcount is a simple yet effective PHP text hit counter. It uses flat-text database so no SQL databases are necessary. It can count hits for multiple pages of your website or even websites on other servers. It can be configured to count unique visits only. The count is displayed on the page using a simple Javascript code. The script prints out only the number (i.e. 15344) which you can easily format with HTML code. You can use one copy of the script to count hits on several pages.

I have used it for a few years now and the only complains I have is that during this time the counter have reset it self to zero. Maybe once per year in average

Thank you for rating! You are probably using an outdated version, reliability and protection from corrupted count has been greatly improved since version 1.4. Try upgrading to the latest version and see if that helps.
Very effective and easy to use. Great work!

A very light-weight and easy to use script. Simple instructions to implement. Works like a charm. Had been looking for something like this since a long time. Thank you.
Blur in installing instruction.

So far does not work at all following the so called "insallation instruction" included in package. Is just a wasting time to try to make it work. I know, the story look nice but something is wrong in... Denmark...

You are talking about some other script and NOT the PHP text counter from www.phpjunkyard.com because there are no "insallation instruction" included with this script (there's just a "readme.htm" file with an "Installation" section). Give it a try, most say it's very easy to install. And post this review to the appropriate script.
Very easy! Worked the first time, no problems. Impressive!

This is a simple, easy script that worked the first time I tested it. No problems! Has good configuration options for unique hits. I'm very impressed.

This works very well, you can add the counter to several pages with just one script and you can easily hide it from visitors. However you should change the script used to add the counter from: to: if you want it to pass W3C validation.
