This one is a PHP, AJAX , MYSQL Autocomplete from Database. The AutoSuggest class adds a pulldown menu of suggested values to a text field. The user can either click directly on a suggestion to enter it into the field, or navigate the list using the up and down arrow keys, selecting a value using the enter key. The values for the suggestion list are to provided as XML, or as JSON (by a PHP script, or similar). The results of the first request are cached on the client machine and are filtered as the user continues to type, to reduce the number of requests hitting the server. This one uses a mysql data. I have given two examples in this to help u. One is autocomplete from static data and other is autocomplete from database. class.xml.php is an extremely easy to use XML Tree and statistic parser. It uses PHP's XML functions for you, returning all the objects in the XML file in an easy to use Tree. It also can be used as a statistics-type program, as you can use the size() method to find out how many of each elements there are. class.xml.php requires PHP4....

Parses the information from a shoutcast server to display self refreshing stats that update every 30 seconds. It also plays the radio from an embedded windows media player control, which basically means that people can listen to your radio station from a website and not through downloading listen.pls files into winamp. It has now been updated, so that the player can be opened in a popup window, aswell as making installation easier. The bug whereby the radio sometimes did not play has now been fixed. rssClient lets you pull down an RSS feed, cache it locally, and extract the most commonly used bits of information. Cache expiration can be adjusted. Getting the RSS file via http times out quickly, so it will never stall a page (you can adjust this upwards if need be). It can get a specified feed or a random feed from a list. It has one sample layout, and it's real easy to make others. Also a good place to start if you want to figure out what RSS is and how to deal with it....

The big part of programming web applications is writing a lot of code - time-consuming. Classes are usefull to save time. This class is taking care of the menu handling. The XML file is easy to create: Main navigation and sub navigation differ only from the name of the node, the id of main and sub node must be the same to assign to each other. The menu class handles how and when to open and close the navigation elements. The script controls nine variables you deliver according to your environment and XML file by adapting the PHP code in the HTML file. The script is made of two parts: In the first part the class loops through the XML file counting all the values from the main nodes and sets text, Url and Id to access the corresponding sub elements. In part 2 there are three parts: First we read the id and set the corresponding main elements (if id is 2 we show only 2 main elements), second we show all sub elements with the same id and third we show the rest of the elements....
