Polish Gridmedia Slider Gallery 0.5 is a free, easy to use and relatively flexible gallery written in javascript using mootools library.

I am using the JQuery Simple Controls Gallery from Drive DHTML (dynamic html) & JavaScript code library . One of the requirements is to read the images information from a XML file. After spending some time researching for it, I found the article Reading XML with jQuery. I have put together these two findings and include a brief explanation to it. A simple slideshow-script, started onload or by link, the transition is fading, once started, the script runs nonstop. Display The script shows the given images in the selected DIV-container. It is started either automatically on page load or by the click on optional control-elements. This cross browser image slideshow scrolls the containing images in a "conveyor belt" fashion. Images can be set to click through to various URLs, and when the mouse moves over the "belt", it pauses for the visitor to interact.
