  • I run a small web design business and decided to purchase the developer version of the Event Booking Script, Initially I received errors on the install pointing to the syntax of mysql, after several attempts that all failed and no luck finding a solution on Google I sent an email to StivaSoft asking for help and advice, I included my server details so that they could simply check the settings, 4 hours later had a reply to say that it had been successfully installed for me, that to me is beyond any level of customer service that I was expecting and not something I had asked them to do, once I'd configured the look and layout I ran the site through w3C validation and the only errors were in the stylesheet link to the script files and the script link description in the body where the calendar was to be placed, once again an email to StivaSoft and the problem was solved ( in both cases the "&" character in the links needed to be "&") such a simple fix and once again StivaSoft supplied the answer within a couple of hours, the moral of the story here has to be that nothing is ever perfect and it is what is done to rectify a problem that indicates whether a service is good and a company can be relied upon, I for sure will come to you guys 1st next time, As a side note not once has anyone suggested to me that I need to pay anymore than I did originally, Once again thanks to Mark, Maya and the team for an excellent experience.

  • Just a quick note to tell you, guys, what a great experience I had with Stivasoft. I was looking to develop a simple calendar and booking application for a professional development training business. I found Stivasoft event calendar script on phpjabbers.com, but realized that what I wanted would require a substantial amount of modification. Also, I wanted it to work as a joomla component. I requested a quote from Stivasoft, got a very reasonable estimate, and agreed to go ahead. Stivasoft team worked quickly and were in constant contact, and once the product was delivered kept working until I was completely satisfied.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

  • A good script, reasonably priced, with attractive licence terms. Few complaints about the script itself (though a few bugs), but Stivasoft are well known for trying every trick in the book to get you to pay for "extras". For example - the script has built in support for multiple calendars - but if you want to actually to enable this feature, you must pay Stivasoft for a "quote" for sending you the required update (already built). We had to pay approx double the advertised price to get a script that functioned as you'd expect out of the box. Again though - the quality is good in v2.0 (v1 was appalling - full of security holes), and worth the price overall. The pricing for "extras" isn't extortionate either, just unexpected and a bit of a downer on the experience.

Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
