csvdiff is a perl script to compare/diff two (comma) seperated files with each other. The part that is different to standard diff is, that you'll get the number of the record where the difference occours and the field/column which is different. The separator can be set to the value you want it to, not just comma. Also you can to provide a third file which contains the columnnames in one(!) line separated by your separator. If you do so, columnnames are shown if a difference is found. I wrote csvdiff to compare two database unloadfiles, but you can use it for any kind of file which has separators....

Spoof your ip address or derail traceroute and surf privately. Easy to install security cgi script that will create a list of untraceable or traceable but fake IP addresses which you can use with any browser to surf in absolute privacy. CGI Script uses live database information to find "anonymous" hubs all over the world. The script then tests each hub for connectivity and security and sorts all of the results into several files such as a list of hubs you can use to make people think you live somewhere else (new zealand, russia, whatever), a list of hubs which block traceroutes back to your REAL ip address allowing complete privacy while you surf, also other lists are created for informational and research purposes thus all of the hubs analyzed are recorded. Default scan is to seek out hubs on port 80 and 8080 but you can scan for any port you like. Every 11 year old hacker knows all aout this little secret but nearly all "webmasters" do not....

A simple PERL script that will check the modification time of a selection of pages in a site and list the most recently changed sorted on the date of the most recent changes. It does not simply traverse directories finding each and every file but you tell it what files to look for, and what URL's they belong to. Thus you may have one entry for a number of pages, in order not to clutter your list with a lot of individual files all belonging together. The most recently changed file defines the date attached to the entry....

Ever have a series of consistent changes that you need to make to a series of files on your server? For example, the Copyright footer on all bazillion pages in your site need to be updated to the current year. You could go into each page and make this change, OR you could use csFind-N-Replace and edit all the pages at one time! It even searches subdirectories! Use this script to edit one or all the files on your server at one time. You specify the text to replace and the text to replace the original text with. Then you execute the find and replace the script will open up each file on your server, search for the original text block, and where located, will replace it with the specified replacement text.
