Clipstream fails to live up to the hype

I've worked with streaming media for a long time and was excited about this new development - plugin free video.
Unfortunatly Clipstream is not yet ready for prime time. It's playback resolution is really low, the audio scratchy and the propriatary format, well, frankly an embaressment.
Stear clear. Those aft excellent quality are better off with QuickTime or Windows Media Player.
Support was also non-existant.
