Product Details

This cross browser DHTML script simulates the Edit> Find In Page feature of the browser to allow your visitors to easily search for a particular text on your page. As in the "Find In Page" feature, it highlights the searched text if found, otherwise, prompts a "Not Found" message. Supports searching of both current page and a particular frame.

Only works in IE

This script only works in Internet Explorer, thus confusing those with Firefox or Safari. In Firefox it works if you enter a term and then hit the 'Enter' key, but it doesn't work if you click the 'Find in Page' button with the mouse. In Safari, you just get the error message regardless of the method used. I need a script that will work across IE, Firefox, and Safari browsers.

I use this script to search a family tree. It is exactly what I wanted. I am very satisfied and so are the people who visit my web site. Thanks.
