Mega Upload is a progress bar for php uploads. Even though PHP provides an easy to use built in file uploader it does not provide support for the display of a progress monitor while the file is being uploaded. Version 1.45 is easier to install and includes an important bug fix.

good idea and demonstration

I found this script very useful. However, it is NOT plug and play -- at least not for someone who is a php expert but not familiar with perl. It took me a few hours of messing around with different config settings and different file permissions until it finally ran on my site, integrated with my script. Good job though! Thanks to the author for figuring this out and putting it on the web for us to use too! :)
Very Good, yet still some bugs...

I found this script very useful but there are some issues to be sorted out. When the progress bar pops up, it keeps refreshing which does not give a very smooth feeling to the script. I suggest trying Javascript to give a smoother feeling. Other than that, very good!
