Still long way to go...

I have tried this package, as this seems to be the only one newsreader with some interesting features. Installation - smooth. A bit worse while setting up. But this simply does not work! Users gets logged out, system after loading a newsgroup does not update it anymore, database schema requires A LOT OF SPACE (MySQL) - so, having that installed now I will deinstall it completely. Much work to do in order to get it working as promised in documentation. Much work yet.

I also encounted lots of errors. It seems to me the project almost stoped development. It is not runnable on a typical hosted environment, because it think it is under the wrong path. And more problems if you wish to discover. But if you "have to" run a web-based newsgroup reader, look for no further. I tried other projects they are even worth. You can correct some code and try to make the project accept your patch, because this is a project much worth of help, it is the hottest in its kind.
