MyUploader is an easy to use Java applet for uploading files and folders to an ASP server using the http protocol (RFC 1867). No Java knowlegde is needed. Uploading files bigger than 1 gigabyte is not a problem. With drag and drop you can easily upload hundreds of files within seconds. During file upload a progress bar is visible.

MyUploader is the slowest Java based applet ever. a 2.6MB file will take over 2 minutes!!! Also so much new Sun active scripts to run just to get it to work why bother

Hi, The speed of the MyUploader depends on many components, MyUploader, the connection speed, and the server side component. If you encounter speed problems than the server side component is probably your bottleneck. Java or ASP.NET ar very fast in processing the files on the web server. Classic ASP is unfortunately slower. Usually it takes only a couple of seconds to upload a file of 2 MB over the internet. Johannes Postma JavaAtWork
