This is the best programming book I have ever read. If you are a beginner this is the best book for you. It gives you step by step examples of how the code is used. If you already know some languages but want to get a good idea how PHP works, this is the easiest way to breeze right though it. The author also has wrote PHP Essentials. Don't get it confused with her competitors. See her at www.thickbook.com This book does not cover advanced code but you will have a good enough grasp on PHP to build from here. This book lays the PHP Foundation for you.
