UserSpice Open Source User Management Framework
UserSpice is the spiritual successor to UserCake. It has been rewritten from the ground up to take advantage of PDO and is fully OOP PHP. In addition to the basics, it gives users access to a full compliment of fully documented classes and features that can serve as the basis for any website or web app. The great thing about UserSpice it that it doesn't care what you write or how you code. If the page has a php extension and has our snippets at the top, UserSpice can manage it. UserSpice has a "get out of the way" approach where you start off with a clean working root directory and can build whatever you want, however you want without the user management system getting in the way. UserSpice 4 went public beta on February 6, 2016 and is actively supported in the forums at userspice.com. For former UserCake users, we also offer UserSpice 2.5, which is a drag and drop upgrade to give you the responsive design and modern reCAPTCHA without touching your database.
