Chico Digital MD5 Secure Login
User authentication for Perl/CGI applications. Uses MD5-based encryption on both the client browser (using JavaScript MD5) and the server (using Digest::MD5). The password is never stored or transmitted as plain text. User sessions are maintained with an MD5-encrypted cookie. The perl module LoginMD5.pm and an example program mainProgram.cgi are included, along with installation instructions.
