Excellent Alternative to MS Project

Rating 5 - Excellent
This is an excellent and free application. It's very powerful and highly customizable. As with any software, there is a learning curve.
One of the best online MsProject replacements

Rating 4 - Very Good
Used it for couple of consulting projects were an online PM tool was needed, but MSP server wasn't an option due to limited funding. Have to say it was a very close replacement of MSP. The interface itself is somewhat clumsy and not too easy to figure out from the first sight, but after a short while it becomes pretty straightforward (learning curve I guess) and quite easy to understand. I tried most of the popular free Web-based tools, and dotProject was winning barehanded.
Not very intuitive

Rating 2 - Fair
We found this program was hardly intuitive in it's design. But it's free. It was difficult to correct problems and manage the projects. But it's free. All in all it had potential, but there's a reason it's free - be prepared for a lot of work to make it work.
Excellent Project Management

Rating 5 - Excellent
Hopefully this won't be rejected again because in my previous review, I simply stated that I've tried other open-source project management software and none have compared to this one. It's not perfect, but it's very good. Hopefully, it will keep getting better.
Mexico Trip

Rating 5 - Excellent
My wife, my parents, my four siblings, and my siblings' 17 children are planning a trip to Mexico next year. Dotproject is working splendidly for this purpose! Also, it helps with getting web development projects done on time and within budget.
