I tried vee-sqmail and found it to be a really usefull tool in setting up a mail server on a dialup box. It's quite hard to setup qmail+serialmail on a redhat system(or any system for that matter!). Using this tool, it took about 45 min. for me to have a working server. It also comes cheap for $10, so if you're thinking about setting up qmail+serialmail, go for it - it even writes files on your HHD! That means, you don't even have to make changes to the config files manually! Great tool. You should also visit the website - new but usefull(artilces, tutorials etc).
