BVCMS is a robust and stable free and open source Church Management System (ChMS). It offers a blend of the features found in for-profit business software like Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software with unique customizations, enhancements, and features for the non-profit church. The software is utilized by Bellevue Baptist Church which also maintains the codebase (on CodePlex) and by a number of other churches. It is written in ASP.NET 3.5 utilizing MVC, LINQ-to-SQL, jQuery, and a MSSQL back-end.

I went to their web page and found that they only offer hosting of the CMS for a price! They don't have a package that can be downloaded or instructions as to use it if you could download it! This should be listed under hosted CMS's instead, and frankly I would not trust a company or a CHURCH that used this sort of evasive tactic to sell a product.
