phpRandomQuote is a simple little script that actually reads a directory of files, then randomly takes one of those files and reads it, then it randomly takes one of the lines in that file and displays it, with the name of the random file it was taken from displayed with it. I called this phpRandomQuote because that is what I created it for, though I do realize that it could be used for many more things other than just quotations. It can be applied in may ways, especially if you like databasing. The only requirement is php 4 or later. I even included my favorite quotes from the people who are about the only human beings in in recent history that I would consider my role-models.
