The functions included are used for making telephone calls from any computer. The call requests are sent over http to Voicent Gateway, a software program for interactive telephony applications. The gateway program can be installed on a remote machine. A FREE version of the gateway is available for download from http://www.voicent.com/do wnload. call_text: make a phone call with a text message. The text is automatically converted to speech using speech synthesis engine. call_audio: make a phone call with a pre-recorded audio message call_till_confirm: set up a call-till-confirm phone escalation process, ideal for system administration staffs. (This feature is not available in the free version)
