Lucuma.js is a very simple javascript script that allows easy development of faux real time web applications by use of CSS Long Polling. Connections can be held for a number of minutes, and redundant code is unnecessary. Instances can interact with one another, and everything is compatible with all major browsers as well as some outdated browsers (IE6).
