This is great for shareware developers who wish to offer the full version of an application on their website. webFile allows you to create new users with passwords, and limit the number of times each user can download a specific file.

Doc Piper's Downloader is a fully configurable secure file download manager that allows you to hide your file locations. It includes all the features of the Lite version plus: Proxy detection; Display optional information like the type, size, file name and download button.

This Web based Perl cgi script allows you to upload any file documents (text, image, audio, etc.) to a directory available on your server. User must provide a valid password to use this utility. A function to list files in the upload directory is also available.

Update Check dynamically checks for files which are updated in a particular folder specified by you. Then it prints a clean table of the files which have been updated over the past 7 days. Update Check is very easy to install and run.

EnBPro is a highly portable Perl-Tk gui FTP client that will work under a variety of operating systems, as well as over PPP, PPPoE, and Ethernet connections. Current functionality include: Upload, Download, Delete files, Make directory, Remove directory, Switch between ascii and binary transfer modes, Change Directory, and CDup (Move to parent directory). It includes a readme file with details and cursory instructions on use of the program. EnBPro requires: Perl 5, Tk modules for Perl, and Net::FTP for Perl.

Stuff-DB is a database system with categories, link to files, and a description page for each file. For each given file, it allows users to download the file, or access its detailed page.

This script will walk a directory and add the file last modified date to any html, php, shtml, etc page. The Web site provides detailed instructions on how to build the script from scratch.

PruneHTML is a tool for removing certain unnecessary bits from HTML before uploading to your server. Currently it removes comments, tabs, newlines, and sequences of blanks.

This script allows you to email your visitors your software or information. If you are offering software, the script will email it to the visitor as a file attachment. The users information including email address, IP address, date of purchase, and file requested, is logged in a log file. The administrator also has a private section, where the admin can email files to a specific user. The files in the administrators section are not open to the public. For example, if one of your customers contacts you and needs another copy of software they purchased from you, you can enter your admin section and have your server send it to them, rather than you using your PC to upload. This script is completely customizable as the screens are run on HTML templates.

Download Monitor will provide you with detailed statistics of all files downloaded. (Counts who downloaded what, and other detailed download statistics) It comes with a highly functional Admin interface where you can view all statistics. Also allows you to build a mailing list so that you can email the users who downloaded your software/downloads so that they can be informed of updates/changes or new releases of the downloads.

This WWW FTP Client provides a way to access FTP sites via WWW interface. Using it you can do almost everything you can do with a casual FTP client: browse directory tree, rename and delete files and directories, upload files etc. The main goal of this script is to provide access to FTP servers if you're behind a firewall not allowing FTP connections. So you can install it on a remote site, access by your browser and connect to the FTP servers where you get accounts.

Copy files from one directory and place them in another directory. Upon execution (from a browser), a form will be presented. Just key in the path of the source directory (you may use * for all files or *.txt for certain files) and the path of the destination directory.
