This PHP5 class allows your Prototype JavaScript AJAX applications to natively call PHP methods and get data back as if the methods were written in JavaScript. I modeled this somewhat after AMFPHP for Flash remoting. I wanted to be able to simply write methods in a PHP class and then call them in JavaScript and not write any more code than that. One striking difference which every .net developer finds from win forms application development and asp.net application development is MessageBox class. You found it to be so missing especially when you worked on windows development for a while.
But, you can use ASP.NET Server side code to emit proper client side Java script code when generating HTML response. Client browser will then run the emitted Java script to display message box.

ASP.NET 2.0 includes a new Client Callback feature that enables you to retrieve page values and populate them to an already-generated page with out reconstructing page. That means you can update your pages without completely redrawing the page. End users will not see the page flicker and reposition, and the pages will have a flow of a thick client application.
