NOTE: I couldn't get the code to work right when searches for both c:\winnt\repair\sam AND c:\windows\repair\sam were down on same page...I would get it to work in a machine with WINDOWS directory just fine but it then would be buggy with WINNT directories so I split up each search into seperate pages and make sure the directories are correct before checking for the file or it gives false results. UPDATE: As of WinXP SP2 this script does not seem to work correctly.

A Javascript Text Box Ticker that ticks a number of messages on a Text Box. This ticker is very easy to customise. You can add any number of messages and their corresponding URLs. You might have come across a search result where number of results are devided in to so many number of pages. But each link no say 2,3,4...when clicked it contacts the server to display the next set of results which takes time. This application uses javascript to get the total number of results in a string format from any server side program ASP, JSP, Servlet, Perl, etc. So the search will be at the client side and will be much more faster than usual. In addition, there is an option for the client to decide how many results to be displayed per page.
