nconv is a small tool that allows one to convert integers from one numeral system to another (minimal allowed system is 2, maximal - 16). After it receives all the data necessary (numeral system to convert from, numeral system to convert to, the integer to convert), the data is processed and the result (integer in the new numeral system) is output to stdout. This program may be useful for both general users who need to perform such kind of conversions and developers who can use nconv to save time while developing their applications.

CNGeoip is a geographical module which allows you to identify site visitor's cities and countries by IP-address. Taking a certain IP-address, the module outputs its local registration data - a country and a city with geographic coordinates. The module consists of IP-addresses database and interfaces for interaction with the database (PHP/Perl/C). The database is being improved and updated consistently.

This program allows a user to monitor connection activity for all interfaces that are on a PC at the moment (e.g. ppp, eth). EyeTracking 1.0 is a simple program that displays live video from a webcam and tracks user's eye. The system tracks user's eye with a given template, which was manually selected using Sum of Square Differences (SQD) method. To reduce extensive computation, the system performs eye tracking in a "search window", a small area around the position of the eye in previous frame.

In Image Processing, we will using FFT operation many times. Ufortunately, OpenCV only came with DFT function. So we need to use a third party FFT library in order to perform FFT operation. FFTW is a good choice. It's very fast and freely available at http://www.fftw.org. This is an example on how to perform FFT operation using FFTW in OpenCV. It simply loads an image, compute FFT & IFFT, then display the final result. The resulted image has no difference with the original, as it should.
