This is a perl script used to autorespond email messages when you are on vacation. The script configuration is kept in a mysql table for easy management of autoreply messages.

NBI is a tool for those who, for one reason or another, do not want to install the presets for Blat from the command prompt. It's primarily aimed at people who are used to working with a GUI. NBI comes in three seperate versions the first two specifically supporting Blat as a CGI application. It comes as both a Perl script and a Perl executable. This is a great little subroutine for PHP coders who are working on Perl projects. It attempts to mirror the functionality of the PHP mail() function in Perl without requiring you to deal with manually opening a pipe to sendmail and printing the message to the pipe.

The World Wide ProxEmail 1.0 script will allow you to use your servers mail server without revealing your PC's IP address in your mailings. For example, if you use mass mailing software from your PC and you connect to your SMTP server to send mail with this software, most of the time, the IP address of your PC is included in the mail headers. Once detected, the postage is checked against the receipt server of Centipaid.com to insure that the the proper payment has been made. Centipaid.com can process electronic postage as low as $0.001. The idea of this filter came about as another method to control the growing problem of SPAM, which was proposed by the Adaptive Mail Delivery Protocol (AMDP). Only paid email will be allowed through the filter.

This script will allow Perl programs running on an NT server to send email through SMTP to a server that requests authentication. If your email server does not require you to authenticate then you don't need this script, but if it does this is one of the only scripts out there that does it.
