In this tutorial we will learn how to scroll some photos that we will load dynamically from an xml file and we will scroll the photos using a custom scrollbar. We will use again the Tweener class to add a nice transition. You can add as much photos as you like.

Hi all this example shows a customized simple XML utility function (getXMLFromPath(src:XML,path:String)) which allows coders to extrat xml nodes in simple xpath('/') syntax. This function can be used in getting data from configuration xml files in gaming or such applications. In the example below we are loading a file named test.xml and extracting its nodes in xpath manner flash version : Flash CS3 / higher player version : 9 / higher

This search uses a xml base, with the name of the rest of the xmls. In the first search, it makes a cache, storing the information in an array. After construction, the search is instantaneous. It is used by class XML, DataGrid, DataGridColumn.

This is an AS3 Scrollbar class to use wherever you want. Simply change the movieclips in the fla file. You can change any element, even replacing the content to be dragged (font or even type of the elements). Be sure to include the Scrollbar.as in the fla folder when exporting. This gallery is better for large images, as if the image is larger than the screen resolution it is scrolled when you click on it. You can change some settings in the Root.as file, such as thumb size etc. The gallery uses the TweenLite class, which you can download from here: http://blog.greensock.com/tweenliteas3 but it is also included in the source. i've been searching around for a good customizable scrollbar class, but i didn't found much. so i decided to make it by myself. this is fully graphically customizable and very easy to use. it drags every kind of content. movement of the content is made with actionscript tween class.

Hi all, this is (again) a new version (well mainly a correct version) of the "famous" gallery originally made by Badawe. In the past days I've posted a version 4 (with auto portrait/landscape mode) and a version 5 with PHP support. Actually this is an XML PHP version. This is how it works: by defaults it looks for fotos.xml file, if not it looks for lettore.php. So it's up to you decide if you want an automatic php version (in this case you only need to upload images in the "images" folder) or if you prefer to use the .xml file (mainly for local testing). Now the .fla is in version 8. Enjoy!!!
