jWeb Counter PHP
This script can be placed anywhere on the page as a blank image and it will record the date and IP of every access. Updated: script now allows for multiple page usage. It will record the current page in the log.
2005/03/07 - This script no longer exists due to a server move. I will try to get it back and if not I'll recreate it. Sorry to all who have been trying to download it :(

This script should be included on all the pages of your site, and the instructions to return the number of users online are included in the script (it uses a function). The script can be used with logins and can then return anonymous and registered users online, and can also check if a user is online (instructions in the script). This was orignally made for my site, but I hope it applies to yours!

OK guys, this script is a simple file based counter. This is meant for sites that do not run a db and instead, use a file and a cookie. It isn't the best I've seen but it's simple. Consider this as a tutorial.
Just create a file called counter.txt and put this where you want to display the counter.
Remember to set the permissions on counter.txt so that your webserver can write to the file.
