Each marker can have an info-window with information (editable) about the place. Technical note: This tool uses the Google Maps API version 3, so it doesn't need a Google API Key: all the process can be made in a single step from your Dreamweaver menu and the code will work on any webpage.

It can register event handler functions to be called when a sequence of one or more keys is pressed.
The key sequence is defined by a string with the names of the keys, which can be letters, digits, symbols or qualifier keys like Ctrl, Alt and Shift.
The registered callback handler function may also be called periodically while the defined key sequence is still being pressed.

This function delays the command associated to a keyboard event. It could be useful while the user is typing inside an edit box for querying a database, so that one avoids to start querying each time a key is pressed and then the database server to be stressed after repeating commands. As the typing is over, the function is run.
I'm not sure yet, but this trick could be exported to other situations where a delay is required.
