Simple applet to display the current phase of the moon. The images used in this example were made using KPT Bryce. The text that appears beneath the image can be switched on or off, and different images may, of course, be used.

The applet inserts a separator bar in the page, which changes colour continuously. You can specify the initial colour and the speed of the change via parameters. The various parameters of the applet also allow you to specify a lower and upper bound for the colour values and to specify a seed for the random number generator. This is an earlier version of Slide Anagram. Instead of the letters sliding around, they just jump to the next position. This program is based on the NervousText demo which comes with Sun's java SDK.

This applet takes 3 strings as arguments and will slide the letters around from one string to the next. It assumes the strings are of equal length and that they are anagrams (i.e. they all contain the same letters). The speed of the sliding is a bit unpredictable depending on the client's browser type and operating system.
