Nuvu TextRoll - Create a Rolling Text Effect on any HTML text element. Yet Another jQuery Plugin I wrote, that makes 7 this month. Let me know what you guys think of it. Features: Set the starting font size. Set the grow to size. This will be the max font-size when the letter is animated. Use third party easing(jQuery UI, etc) or simple jQuery easing (swing, linear) Set the speed in which the font-size grows. Set the speed in which the fon-size returns to its original size. Whether to include multi letter animation. Increase the font-size on the next two and previous two adjacent letters when hovering over a letter. Creates more of a rolling effect. FontTweaks by Nuvuscripts is a jQuery Font Manipulation Plugin that allows the control of targeted text. Change font-family, color, font-size, opacity in real time. Choose from 9 control styles.

This script uses iframe loading techniques to create a fast and reliable way of pulling suggestions for your input search boxes. The script consists of a js file that contains core functionality, a css file for styles, and two images which indicate the application's current state and provide additional functionality. The suggestions can be customized to be anything you want and instructions on how to do this are also included. Additional functionality includes matching whole phrases and capitalizing the suggestions on the dropdown.

TextboxList turns normal text inputs into a widget that can be navigated using the keyboard, effectively turning your input into a "list" of items that can be easily deleted. It comes with an auto-complete plugin.

This is the source code for my site's global countdown clock. It allows people living in different time zones to simultaneously count down to any arbitrary future date.

The flyout can be configured to fly left, right, up, or down. The flyout can be just about any object (div, table, etc.), thus they can be formatted however you want. The flyout transitions with both a fade in/out and vertical expansion/contraction. You can set direction, transition speed, frame rate, offsets, timeout, and maximum opacity. Ease of implementation was important during development. The flyout only requires a few lines of CSS (examples in the JS comments) and mouseover events to be set. In the file download, both the fully documented code and a minified version is contained in the ZIP file. Compatible with IE5+, Firefox 0.9+, Safari, Opera 9+, and Chrome Note: IE doesn't get the "expansion" effect because when coupled with "http-equiv: X-UA-Compatible :: IE=9" it makes the script fail after first mouseover.

The slide show can cycle through a pre-defined list of images. The images are pre-loaded at initialization. Transition between images is a simple fade (adjustable speed). Available controls (as functions) for the slide show include play, pause/stop, next, previous, random image, play random order, or set specific image. Settings include transition speed and frame rate. Ease of implementation was important during development. The slide show requires only three lines of code to operate: an array of images (one line), initialization with settings (one line), and a command (play, next, etc.) (one line). Juitter is a jQuery Plugin that allows you to place live twitter on your website. It is lightweight, fast & highly customizable. You can use Juitter to display tweets from a specific user or specific words, you can restrict results by language, and it even supports multiple users and keywords. Juitter offers several options so that you can customize it according to your project needs, including ability to specify number of messages to display, time interval before it refreshes tweets, whether to display user avatars or not, etc. You can easily customize its look and feel using CSS.

This object can display a QR code images using the Google Charts API. It can create an HTML IMG element inside a given page element with an URL of Google Charts API that serves a QR code image with a given information. Currently it can generate QR code images for HTTP links, bookmarks, send SMS messages, phone numbers, person contacts, e-mail addresses, geographic locations, WIFI accesses or any type of text content.

This object can show and update the online status of a Skype user on a Web pages. It can generate HTML to display an image that reflects the online status of a given Skype user. The image appears inside a given page element. The class can update the image regularly to reflect changes of the Skype user online status. The image may be associated to a link so when the user clicks on it, the browser triggers a given Skype actions like call, chat, add to contacts, show profile, send voice mail or a file.

This object can scroll the page smoothly when user clicks on links. It detects the change of the current page URL anchor name and makes the browser scroll the page smoothly to the anchor position. The scrolling speed and the offsets of the scroll position relative to the anchor element are configurable parameters.

This JavaScript removes any excess whitespace (spaces, tabs, line breaks, etc) from both sides of a string.

Most digital photos are too large to fit comfortably inside the average screen. The fullSizePct variable will help manage that. The code is not affected by popup blockers.

This object can store and retrieve values in Flash cookies. It can generate HTML elements to embed invisible Flash object to store, retrieve and delete values in cookies managed by Flash objects. The Flash object is provided either as compiled SWF and ActionScript source code. The cookies domain to access can be configured.
