This object can scroll the page smoothly when user clicks on links. It detects the change of the current page URL anchor name and makes the browser scroll the page smoothly to the anchor position. The scrolling speed and the offsets of the scroll position relative to the anchor element are configurable parameters.

On ASF(my project) in the user center i use the url hash to define what content should be loaded into the div. When a user clicks on a link it changes the content in the div, but a user can also change the content by changing the hash value in the url.
