This a complete solution for displaying news on a website. It contains a scrolling news list with a brief text paragraph and optionally an image, and a details page with the full news body and bigger image. Images can have any size and aspect ratio, but the width and height must be specified in the xml. The thumbnails are created from the large image and you can specify the scale percent (50 means that the thumbnail will be half of the large image). News body text and brief text can be html formatted. You can navigate to the original news page on the web by setting the link and target attributes inside the xml. Scrolling direction and speed and also the width and height of the news widget can be set in the xml file.
