This fully configurable Java menu applet can take infinite icons and circle them around on the ring. When an image is engaged, it is raised to the front, embosses other icons not in focus, shows the caption, and waits to connect to a URL in the target frame.

JFS is a simple, TCP/IP based network filesystem protocol. It allows applets running in a web browser to load and save files on a remote server, as well as send email and print documents through the JFS server. Because Java applets cannot access the filesystem of the machine they are running on, this provides a useful way for applets to store state information.

This is a Java scrolling applet with several cool features that can enhance your web site. At a specified rate, it reads and reloads from a file and supports auto-wrapped text and images. You can set colors, font face / style / size, left / right / center alignments, Unicode characters, web address links, scrolling speed, background image, margins, shadow / outline effects, pause time, etc.

HouseSpider is a Java applet that adds indexing and search capability to Web sites (and to local files and CD-ROMs). It can search by two methods: by spidering through the site, or by searching a cached index file. Spider-searching is slow, but very easy to set up and requires no maintenance. Cache-searching requires only a little more attention to set up and is sometimes even faster than CGI programs. HouseSpider also supports compression of the index file and boolean searches. Translations for several languages are provided, and it can handle Web sites in any language or encoding. The applet can also run as a stand-alone application.

The DropDownMenu applet operates like any normal drop-down menu. Incorporates configurable applet background color, list background color, text color, font face and size. Can be set to play an .au file when an item is selected, target frame to display selected item can be set for each list item. Reads from a text file (easy to change).

The URLButton applet demonstrates how to jump to a given URL from a Java applet. Just type a valid URL into the text field, then click the button, and you'll be taken to that URL.

This is a basic horizontal text scrolling applet. You can configure text font type and size, color for background and foreground, and its support a hyperlink.

This is a Java counter and clock in one applet. It counts page hits, tells your visitors the local time, and provides an analog time display. You can use your own counter sets. Because Java applets cannot write to files, the counter function of JavaClock requires you to install a Perl script (provided) on your Web site. The counter supports any number of pages and/or users. This is a read mail applet which allows you to access and read email of your POP3 accounts right from your Web page. This applet uses and implements POP3 read mail protocol.
